We are all created with a purpose and we all have a calling on our lives whether we realize it or not. We often times do not know what our purpose is or what the calling on our life is but through prayer and supplication, God will always reveal to you things about yourself that you did not know before. Sometimes the calling on your life can be overwhelming which can lead to you not knowing how to respond to it, but instead of feeling overwhelmed, we should thank God that He chose to use us for His glory and honor.

In 2018, God placed me on an assignment that was very dear to my heart because of the spiritual growth and wisdom I gained. One of my passions is helping others, encouraging them, and leading them to Christ. This specific assignment was something that caught me by surprise because God was using me in ways that I never had been used before. During this time, my faith had been tested, I cried out to God at night trying to plead with Him but in the end, he ultimately gave me the strength I needed to fulfill this assignment. Now we all know the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy and on one specific Sunday at church, I felt like giving up on the assignment God had put me on but I just kept feeling the presence of God and that alone was confirmation for me to stay in it. While at church, I went to the altar with tears in my eyes, and all I could do was get on my hands and knees and cry out to God for His strength, in that moment of worship I heard God say to me “it’s not over, keep doing what I created you to do” and one of the prayer warriors up at the altar came to me and said, “there is someone that needs you to lead them to God.” From that Sunday on, I answered the call on my life and took my emotions out of it. One thing I learned when being placed on an assignment is you have to take your feelings and emotions out of it because it is not about you it’s about what God wants you to do in that person’s life. No matter the obstacles, the trials, and tribulations, say yes to God and have faith the size of a mustard seed knowing that He has already instilled in you everything you need to do what He’s called you to do.

To whom much is given, much will be required
